Four Uses For Coconut Oil

Ah, the beloved super food and do-it-all beauty product. These days you can't go anywhere without reading about the wonders of coconut oil. Drinking it, eating it, rubbing it on your body - the possibilities are endless. This was one of the major reasons Radford wanted to create our own, unique oil that was accessible to everyone.

Confused about what to do with your jar of magic? We broke down five simple ways you can use coconut oil in your daily life.

Lip Balm

Coconut oil will give your lips the hydration of their lifetime. It also provides a beautiful, natural sheen that makes your pout so much more kissable.

Face Moisturizer

Ideally, you'd want to slap coconut oil on your face in the evening, as it's incredibly rich and leave you a little slippery (not the greatest makeup base). If you're particularly oily or acne-prone and are worried about breakouts, try adding a small dollop to your regular moisturizer to amp up hydration but minimize oil.

Hair Mask

Depending on your hair type, you could apply a coconut oil hair mask once a week. It will deeply hydrate and nourish your scalp, all while providing essential nutrients to keep your mane really healthy and strong.

Body Moisturizer

Say goodbye to dry skin forever! Focus coconut oil on dry patches like elbows and knees, but don't be shy about lathering it elsewhere. Dabbed across the collarbone looks beautiful for a night out.

If this hasn't convinced you that you need coconut oil in your life, I'm not sure what will.
